Personal Name Change Notice

Hi Everyone,

This is a notice that I, “Arthor Hunt”, will be changing my name to “Rupert Magan”.

This does not impact my advice on numerology in anyway.  Everything is, to the best of my knowledge, still the same and summarized in:

http://www.energybodyway.com/blog/how-to-change-your-name-faq-part-1/

My previous name was slightly off balance and needed to be corrected.  I tend to experiment a lot, which has both good and bad sides to it.  After this my new name energies will slowly take hold so I suspect the blog will change a bit… or a lot!

Best regards,

Rupert Magan

formerly Arthor Hunt

The ONE, The Source, The SELF, The Infinite, The Godhead, The Absolute, etc

All names for the One Underlying Reality, the place at which we are connected.

Oh, it’s so true but can be so annoying, no?  Let’s be honest.  Infinite connection and one-ness would get a little much over time.

However Oneness does have its place at times.  As usual and as with all things:  Balance - which is a process that never ends, and never a finalized state of consciousness.

So how does one balance the One with the self with a small s?

Don’t Stress, Use the Process

That’s one way.

Don’t take yourself too seriously

That’s another.

It can sound so hippie-ish to say just let it flow.  Let it happen.  But it is sort of true.  We are in a tapestry of fate and intention, trapped by our dreams and desires, moving from thing to thing, it’s all ebb and flow, it’s all got to go.  It’s movement.  Motion.  Action.  Reaction.  Coming.  And going.  Back.  And forth.

We live in duality so much of the time.  There is sometimes an opportunity to lose our sense of duality and … for a time… become One.

When we have those chances we should take them.  They usually do not last forever.

One can see Samadhi, a state of full Self-Realization of consciousness, as a kind of siddhi, too; Samadhi is Oneness realized, and as I was mentioning above, exactly like siddhis, we should accept these moments of Unity into your lives if it happens.  Exactly like siddhis, it is wonderful to have those experiences and accept them, but bad to chase them.  If the siddhi of Oneness, of Unity Perception, comes to you then let it happen.

Be One for a time.

And then let it go.  It will fade no matter what, so let it come and go like the river’s flow.  Like the ebbing of the tides, like the cycles of the moon, like the passing of the seasons, and the stages of life.

Let it go.  Let it all go for a time, just let it pass.

This, too, shall pass.

There are only so many things you can be absolutely sure of in life, and the above quote is one of them.

Have a good day, readers.

Three Worthwhile Pursuits In Esoterica, The Occult, Or Paranormal

These are three worthwhile pursuits from the worlds referred to as the esoteric, occult, or paranormal:

1. Guided Imagery.  For honing your performance, getting results such as more relaxation or directing your energy to a specific goal such as making money, sleeping better, lucid dreaming, or speaking in public.

2. Intuition.  Developing intuition (which can be done with #1 above)  can be both foundation and final accomplishment of the development of consciousness.  With expert intuition you are functioning at your best and experience synchronicities offering you your best opportunities.

3. Numerology.  Yantras and mantras, scientific magick, are useful for developing consciousness and channeling energy.

However.  One thing to keep in mind with all these things is to not take them too seriously.  If you practice guided imagery too much you’ll end up drowsy.  If you focus on intuition too much you’ll end up confused about what is your intuition and what is a good system to follow.  And numerology is good for correcting some imbalances but it’s not a cure-all.

All topics related to 7, to esoteric and spiritual matters, are of another dimension, and it’s not the one we’re in here on Earth.  So tread gently with these subjects.  Don’t hang on too tight and don’t expect answers to everything.

The Power Of The Moon

Full moon tonight.  The moon is powerful.  It exerts its pull on us at all times, waxing and waning.

If you want to know a timing cycle that actually works keep an eye on the moon.

The moon ties into our sexuality and when it’s a good time to start things or just maintain things.

Traditionally it was when the moon was waxing that we should start new projects.  When it’s waning do not start new things, however that is a good time to maintain a project and do finishing touches, edit, or resume something started during the last waxing cycle.

The traditional timing may not work for you.  The important thing is you track a rhythm that affects us all and has been shown to impact everything from menstrual cycles to financial market performance.

The power of the moon affects us all.  Watch it and learn what it does to you.

The Zone of Manifestation

Can you create and manifest your reality?

First, it’s not as easy as The Secret makes it out to be.  It’s not just The Law Of Attraction.

It’s true that attraction matters.  But it’s not the whole story.

The main part that is missing is the vibration of your mind.  Where are you at?  Are you in harmony with your own self?

Only when you are in harmony can you begin to manifest.

Here is an important point of overlap with the ancient and the modern: In regards to siddhis, or special spiritual powers, the ability to manifest one’s reality was the ultimate siddhi.

This obviously makes sense in some ways.  How can you be creating your reality and not manifest siddhis?  Everyone would prefer to fly or levitate, have great wealth, an indestructible body, and the ability to gather whatever information one wants.  Those were what the siddhis would enable one to do, to have, to be.

So it goes around in a kind of loop.  Siddhis come from manifestation.  And siddhis allow for manifestation.  The source of siddhis is fivefold, either

  • heredity
  • incantations (including systems like Yantra)
  • penance and self-purification
  • drugs and herbs
  • and/or one-pointedness of mind

Evolution is in part the awakening of siddhis.  Evolution is always a process of adapting.   Siddhis are the ultimate form of adapting to the environment.  Developing them is the essential evolutionary leap forward.

What Is A Balanced Numerological Total? FAQ, cont.

A balanced numerological total in Yantra is one of the following totals:

2-4-6,  3-3-6,  6-9-6, 8-7-6,  9-6-6

2-6-8, 6-2-8, 8-9-8, 9-8-8

2-9-2 is sometimes included as well.

These totals balance mental and spiritual development with success in the material world and good health.

How To Change Your Name: FAQ, Part 1

The readers are starting to grow on this site and this is rapidly evolving to where I can’t possibly answer each individual question.

So this is the beginning of a FAQ.

Brief summary of the situation to date:  I have revealed the original system behind Kabalarianism and some of the debates that have followed the Kab founder Alfred Parker’s altering of the spiritual system of Yantra into a commercialized forms of mass, generic numerology.  Karmic consequences for the Kabalarians have been discussed.  People have written in with various levels of dissatisfaction with the Kab name and want to know what to do.

How to do a name change complete in BOTH systems, both the Chaldean and Yantric.

1. Ok, I understand the points on the thread, “Beware the Kabalarians“, and my life is not going well and I think it’s my name or my name change by the Kabalarians.  What do I do?

Here is the way to do a full, complete name change so you are covered in both systems:

Step One. Get your numbers.  Find out what you need to change into for both Yantra and the Chaldean.

What is your birthpath?

Your minor lessons?

What first name fits for you?

To do this go to  the folks at www.real-yoga.com and check for what they say for a name that matches your birthpath and lesson properly.

This will give you your Yantric numbers.  That’s step one.

StepTwo. Get your Chaldean info.  You will likely have to consult with one of their practitioners to get the specific total good for you.

The only person I know of at the moment who I can recommend for the Chaldean is at this site:

http://astronlogia.com/numerology-consultation-through-skype-g-talk-and-yahoo/

However I don’t think you need to pay for an hour consultation.  Instead you can make a small donation elsewhere on his site and then email him just asking what the good numbers are for you for a name change.

[note: Saravana of Astronlogia can take his time getting back to you.  Please be patient, and also email him every couple of days until you get a reply.  In the meantime see the option below...]

You could also try this Chaldean site to get the numbers recommended for the combination of your birthpath and day of birth:

http://www.lucky-name-numerology.com/numerology.html

You will likely want to get an online numerology calculator that shows both Chaldean and Yantric/Pythagorean totals for the names you are considering.

This is the best one I know of.  John Kostura is a good programmer!  Say thanks to him.

http://www.2near.com/edge/numerology/

Download the calculator.

Ok, you’ve got your numbers.  Now what?  Now it’s time to choose among some names and run them through the calculator until it all fits together.  Here’s a list of  names to choose from:

http://www.wise-name.com/find.names

That’s the “How To Balance Your Name in Both Chaldean and Yantric/Pythagorean” revealed.

There are a lot more questions so I will get to those later.  The above is what you need to know to both get you started and complete a name change in accord with both systems.

The Fifth Eye And The Third Eye

Have you ever tried to awaken your Third Eye?  Your Third Eye is said to be a kind of spiritual organ of perception, one that sees into the astral planes and other dimensions, and can even see forward and backward in time.  It can be a vehicle for spiritual realization, a way to connect with guided imagery, and a way to opening to more creativity.

However some people simply can’t tap into the Third Eye.  Traditionally the Third Eye was just above the center of the space between the eyebrows.

One tip you can try if the Third Eye is just not opening for you is to focus a couple inches above the Third Eye.  If you have a high forehead this will be slightly over halfway from the area between your eyebrows to your hairline.

Another way of thinking about it is to see it as in the center of the forehead, and just up a bit.

Focusing on that area of the Fifth Eye can help you feel more elevated and see the world from a higher perspective.  The Third Eye has it’s place, but don’t struggle to open it.  It should happen naturally.

Experiment with moving your perceptions up a notch and see what happens.  Often the Fifth Eye is a person’s true seat of esoteric perception.

When you have contact with the Fifth Eye you will be able to perceive spiritual reality for yourself.

A Helpful Tip For Understanding Your Life Purpose And Lifepath

I was recently visiting Anna Conlan’s fine site where she was having a podcast discussion with Alex Wu about life purpose: http://www.psychicbutsane.com/life-purpose/life-purpose-podcast-with-alex-wu-and-anna-conlan.

The talk was about life purpose so I offered a tip that has come from long years of observing the effect of numerology and birth path on people.  I wrote:

I’ve found numerology to be useful for determining what in numerology is called lifepath. One tip is that when you calculate your lifepath it’s common for many people to have the innate skills and inclinations of the prior lifepath for the first third or half of one’s life. For example, a 5 will have the tendencies and skills of a 4: liking stability, perfectionist, structured; a 1 will have 9 qualities such as idealism, spiritual interests, and humanitarian inclinations.

Lifepath is like a mountain we climb in this lifetime, so what this means is our lifepath is what we need to stretch into. The 1 has to become a leader and pioneer despite their humanitarian tendencies, the 5 must embrace change, variety, travel and communication to be the most fulfilled.

There are a small number of (usually) lucky people who come in just ready to go with their lifepath, but most of us have to grow into it over our lifetime.

Seeing it as a transition and process of growth from the previous lifepaths skills and tendencies into the new one can be a helpful tool for people to find their own pattern and how to develop harmoniously.

Are The Kabalarians A Scam? A Recent Convert Asks Some Questions

A recent commenter has arrived and asks some questions about the Kabalarians and their system in my most viewed-page on my site, “Beware the Kabalarians“.

Here are his questions followed by my replies:

Curt says:

Hi everybody,

I just used Kabs to change my name. It’s a pity I did not find this site before, even I tried to do scam search for them. But, I’ll just make few comments.
1. Who deciding that is something in this world should be free?! Kabs make money, good for them! Don’t pay if you don’t like it, it’s free world.
2. Sex scandal does not make the theory wrong. Don’t mix things!
3. The most interesting about numerology question: different alphabets from many languages make this theory fall apart, especially in our more and more international cosmopolitan world. I change three countries of living during my life, with different languages, witch one should I follow?
The birth date. Who decided that it should be based on Gregorian calendar? Why?
It seems to me, the whole system is floating in the air, without any fundamental base.

Curt says he has just recently changed his name so doesn’t really know the background for the systems.  I’ll explain what the reasoning is and while we’re at it, let’s look at what the Kabs are doing wrong:

Hi Curt,

Thanks for writing. I’m going to re-post your question as a new post.

Too bad you didn’t find this site. My “Beware the Kabalarians” post is my most viewed page; people are clearly interested. I’ll post some more on the subject so the search engines are more likely to find it.

You raise some questions. Some I have answered before and some are new. They are worth going over. Here are my replies:

1. Who decides something should be free? The people and tradition that gave birth to the Kabs, namely Yantra. As I explain above (in the original post and comments), there are traditionally karmic penalties if you charge for the name change. As I explain in the comments there are are other ways of making money, such as doing business name consultation. After the scandals the Kabs took a huge hit, losing almost half their paying members. They have been warned about doing what they are doing; they have paid and will continue to pay the price. I’m here to remind them of the spiritual path, of the rules that governed what gave birth to their modified system. Comparing a modern, mercantilist perspective “if you don’t like it, it’s a free world” to a genuine spiritual path is not even comparing apples and oranges; it’s more like comparing gold to dung.

2. As for the sex scandal, I’m not sure what you mean by “the theory”, but it actually does make the Kab claims wrong. The reason is simple; like with #1 above, it is the contradiction and hypocrisy of a supposedly balanced name. Why would a balanced name not lead to leaders not preying on underage girls (and the charges were brought forth back when Canada’s age of consent was 14); why would the parents not say anything; why did the “balanced” names not lead to more independent thought and action?

It doesn’t make the theory that letters can be reduced to numbers that have an effect on consciousness wrong. But that theory is literally thousands of years old. Think Pythagoras and the Chaldeans. It does make the claim that the Kab’s numbers are balanced in any meaningful definition of balanced…. wrong.

3. As for alphabets, the answer is both simple and complex: You use the language of the country you are in and the main one you use. The reason is that mind is at the intersection of culture (language is an aspect of culture) and reality.

It doesn’t make the theory fall apart at all. Yantra is very clear that your mind is shaped by the most used name and the most used language for the person. The system of reducing the alphabet is the same; the numbers for each letter depend on how the letters are sequenced in the culture.

As for the Gregorian calendar, the answer is the same. It’s because we use it the most that it has the strongest effect. Remember, this is about impact on mind.

The system is not floating in the air. The base is the culture, language, calendar, and name that we use the most. It is becoming aware of the numbers and letters that affect our consciousness. It’s actually pretty simple, but because we are unaccustomed to seeing the water we swim in (speaking metaphorically), it can take a shift in perspective to get it.
